Most journeys start with a series of questions. For us they were: Where are the tees depicting Black Women and culture in our go-to stores? In a seemingly large market of art based apparel, where are the drawings and illustrations of the world's favorite muse? The route 66 nostalgia tees didn't resonate with us. Casual conversations and canvassing made it clear we weren't alone. Thus, Dear Sable emerged.

Born of a desire for representation - Dear Sable translates to Dear Black Girl or Dear Black Woman. Each Dear Sable piece begins as a work of art, crafted mindfully with time and love. Black Women are our muse and our art is designed with them in mind, and done-so by Black Women.
